19.01.2022 The demand for ‘urgent services’ has definitely increased. 10 session limit is not enough for seriously unwell clients. We know this and it adds another stress on us as we know our clients aren’t getting the services they need.

08.01.2022 Great news. The Federal Minister, Greg Hunt, has committed to ongoing telehealth services under Medicare. This allows access for clients from geographically isolated areas and those who find travel to my office difficult. It also allows for more of ‘out of hours’ sessions.

07.01.2022 I can now offer Telehealth sessions to everyone with a mental health care plan, DVA card and there is no gap payment for sessions. Telehealth is also allowed under private health. Please ask if you have any questions or if you want to make an appointment. As I will be offering Telehealth sessions from my home office there is a lot of flexibility with consultation hours.
