20.01.2022 Home from the Camino a few days and experiencing the culture shock of my own country and town. Everyone in a hurry...running red lights... speeding up on weekends instead of slowing down...no time for a smile at those passing by...community dwindling...thinking about the past...chasing the future while this very moment is lost. No time to be still and enjoy the presence of each other or self. The camino...the pilgrimage... is counter cultural and hopefully continues within...being "the change we want to see in the world".

17.01.2022 Last day in Santiago de Compostela....and in Spain.

13.01.2022 It never stops calling...#pilgrim

11.01.2022 So...after 3 flights...15 hours of stopovers..and a bus ride...I am home from my Camino...but the pilgrimage continues. While I was away I graduated from one of my courses...didnt get to wear the gown and throw the hat but am proud of the piece of paper and what that represents. Feeling grateful...sad...reflective and looking forward to a shower and sleep.
