11.01.2022 ----------------------- JCEC Nominations ----------------------- The Queensland Joint Chemical Engineering Committee furthers the interests of the profession of chemical and process engineering in Queensland. It acts as a focal point for the professional development activities of members located in Queensland and promotes membership of IChemE and Engineers Australia (EA). JCEC provides a single committee to support members of the two institutions to organise many activities f...or chemical engineers, including technical seminars, interactive forums and plant tours. JCEC is formed from the Queensland based members of IChemE and EA. University academics and representatives of student groups from Queensland universities are also encouraged to nominate. Nominations are now sought from members of IChemE to join the Queensland Joint Chemical Engineering Committee for 2021. Nominations must be proposed and seconded by members of the same institution. The change was made in order to give more diversity and inclusivity to the responsibilities of the role.
