23.01.2022 Mount View Primary School girls team convincingly won 2019 Australian Schools Teams Championship in Primary Girls School division. Full results can be seen http://tournaments.streetchess.net//www2019/rankteam5.html In the history of these competitions Mount View Primary school teams won the prestigious titles many times. Girls Teams won in 2010, 2011 ,2016 and in 2019. Boys teams won in 2009 ,2013, 2014 and in 2015!... Congratulations to Mount View Primary School !

20.01.2022 2019 Victorian Champions Scotch College team came second at the 2019 Australian Schools Teams Championship. Only half a point separated them from the winners Anglican Church Grammar School from Brisbane. Interesting fact that on three boards Scotch boys won their individual competitions. Schedule: Monday 23 December 2019 starting at 5-30 pm Venue: Melbourne Chess Club, 66 Leicester Street, Fitzroy Prizes: $1000 total prize fund 1st $300 2nd $200 3rd $150 4th $100 5th $50 Top Victorian player $100 plus the Victorian Blitz Champion 2019 title 2 rating group prizes of $50 each Entry Fees: $25 per player. 06.01.2022 Waverley Christian College Team just blitzed through the field and for the third time in a row won the Australian Schools Teams Championship! Our team scored 18 points from possible 20( 6.5 points clear from second place team!). Our players were Rey Ding--4.5 points from 5 games Dylan Chan--4 points Kevin Bao-5 points...
