13.01.2022 Learn from the house rules team's trifles. Painting your ceiling under time pressure? Here's a few tips: Do's: Pull your down lights carefully out of the road. They're easily popped back in and they're normally only 12 volts so won't hurt you. (Check if unsure). Cut in with a brush against a flat blade to protect surfaces. Keep wiping the blade clean on a rag.... Cover anything you don't want painted (including your bronchi-wear a mask!) Spray or roll nice and evenly with smooth steady strokes from one side to the other. Don'ts: Use dodgy ladders or scaffolds Forget to wash up your brushes & rollers as directed Keep left over white paint next to your milk
