19.01.2022 This morning, one of our college counsellors Sarah Mangelsdorf gave a talk to our Year 9 girls on how the shifting alliances of girl relationships can and often do turn into a larger issue than anyone ever intended. The aim was to raise awareness of these relationships, how powerful they are and how painful they can be when they change. Sarah also touched on the negative bias in our perception of situations and how our thoughts are not necessarily reality. This presentation ...will be followed by workshops in small groups run by Wellbeing Coordinators next week. Sarah finished with a wonderful reminder to us from Rumi. Years 7 / 8 boys, your turn is next week! Sarah will be speaking on how brain development impacts friendships, impulsivity and risk taking.

15.01.2022 We seem to have had to wait a long time this year for a couple of normal, nice weekends for sport to take place. Saturday was another beautiful day for Summer Sport and Chev hosted Basketball, Touch Football and Cricket. Once again, the Chev facilities looked a treat. 15.01.2022 Welcome to Chevalier's Remembrance Day service for 2020. Today, we paused to remember the members of our armed forces who have died in the line of duty. Thank you to history teacher and Chev Past Student Mr Andrew Gillespie, our College captains Ashanti S and Will P and leaders John J, Paige A and Lara C for your wonderful contributions. Lest We Forget.

12.01.2022 Today, we had our inaugural "Wellbeing Wednesday". This week was run by our Riversdale leaders. It's an initiative our leaders are running to promote wellbeing and good mental health amongst the student body. Today involved music, fresh fruit and ice-blocks. We hope to continue running regular Wellbeing Wednesdays this term and then into 2021.

02.01.2022 A historical moment for the Class of 2020 as the final group of students headed in for their very last HSC exam. These are our wonderful drama students with their dedicated teacher Miss Price.
