22.01.2022 Quick Update On Chevron Island Christmas Party To Be Held On Saturday 28th November at Korman Family Park Chevron Island. So far we have over 40 plus people... have shown interest in attending. I will be providing a Marquee, Tables , Chairs etc. A fundraiser has been incorporated into the day & some amazing prizes have so far been donated by local businesses. If you are a business & you would like to support Sepsis Awareness by donating a prize or voucher please let me know. Please bring your own food , drinks , blanket & if possible a shared plate for the tables ,maybe Christmas theme. A BBQ is located at the park for everyone use , but keep in mind it may be in demand. Again if you have any ideas on how to make the day a fun filled jolly occasion please let me know. Looking forward to seeing as many locals as possible attend , help spread the word. 21.01.2022 Lately people have been coming in to Toscana and not buying. Everyone wants to talk about how quiet it is, a lot of people tell me of a new item they bought on line or they'll think about it. That's all OK but if I'm not here in six months time and every one says oh what a shame, where am I going to shop now, then we need to think hard about where we spend our money. If you shop with me, I go out to dinner maybe once a week. That keeps a wait person and a chef working and another small business open. Now obviously it isn't me alone, but many people like me and collectively we all support one another. Try to not buy from a multi national or send your money overseas, not forever, just for now. Every little bit helps.

18.01.2022 I was just asked, what are the benefits of living on Chevron Island. Here are my answers, can you add to them? 800m to the beach. 500m to the tram to Broadbeach... and Helensvale. Then train to Brisbane. Over the Bridge to Surfers social life. Community atmosphere. Safe. Great real estate prices close to centre, will have to go up one day soon. High demand for rental. Go east or west to supermarkets. Flat. Several developments underway. Just over walking bridge to HOTA Home of the Arts. Sunday market. Lots of Cafes. One pub at the moment but more soon I think.
