22.01.2022 At our next 'Dance in a Day' we will be teaching AUTHENTIC Lindy Hop. Lindy was born during the 1930's from Swing Music and is typically based on a 10 count - 8 beat. Being danced over the wide tempo range of Swing Music, it is a highly creative and dynamic dance. Some may think that Lindy Hop is fast, however this is not always the case. We will be teaching the dance slowly, starting with the basic footwork before moving onto the 'mini' dance routine. Come along, challenge yourself and add another style to your repertoire!

22.01.2022 WOW - what an amazing first "Dance in a Day'! I'm sure everyone enjoyed the day and came away with heaps of tips and techniques to take your dancing to the next level. We don't know about everyone else, but we are a bit tired tonight after an awesome day of Intro to Rock 'n' Roll & Intro to Rockabilly. Thanks to everyone that come along and hope to see you at our next Dance in a Day on Sunday, 16th February which will be Intro to Lindy Hop and Saturday night Flash - Dips, drops & more.... 19.01.2022 BOOKED OUT!!! Thanks to everyone who has booked our Dance in a Day classes tomorrow. We are pleased to announce that we are BOOKED OUT in both Rock 'n' Roll & Rockabilly so PLEASE NOTE there will be no places available on the day! Everyone has been emailed with details for the day - please let me know if you have not received this. Looking forward to meeting all of you who are joining us for a fun filled day of dancing and prancing!

12.01.2022 For those of you who are thinking of coming to our Rockabilly / Rock 'n' Roll event on the 29th March, there is often a misconception that Rockabilly music and dance is always FAST. While this is sometimes true, it is doesn't have to be. Initially, we will be going through the basics to a slow tempo, allowing you to consolidate what you are learning. Why not come along for a great afternoon of fun, meet some new people and take away a new dance style to add to your repertoire. We will also be having an after party 'wind down' at a 'local' with a few drinks at the end of the day so feel free to join us.

11.01.2022 Take your dancing to the next level with our Dips and Highlights class in our next Dance in a Day on 16th February! Perfect for a Saturday night to add some 'Flash' to your dancing. Don't forget you receive a FREE link to a video of the class routine which will be recorded at the end of the class/s you attended if you book before the 9th February. Hope to see you all there!

09.01.2022 Here we go again! Due to popular demand, our next 'Learn to dance in a Day' will be Rockabilly and Rock 'n' Roll. The Intro to Rockabilly class in the morning will consist of basic footwork and dance moves which will culminate into a "mini dance routine" and is suitable for those of you who have never danced before. The Rockabilly/Rock 'n' Roll 'Booster' class in the afternoon will be individual moves that you can incorporate into both your Rockabilly and Rock 'n' Roll repertoire. Both Classes will encompass technique and tips to improve your dancing. We are a fun, friendly group so don't be shy - hope to see you all there!
