04.01.2022 Sooty Shearwater release at Tourist Rocks, Cheynes Beach At a certain time of year some of these sea birds seem to become disorientated by the moonlight unfortunately & crash land into buildings, etc so we scoop them up & pop them into a nice cosy box for the night so they can rest after their ordeal & release them the nxt morning off the rocks! Great result : Emma & Ian

02.01.2022 **REMINDER: There is a TOTAL FIRE BAN on for Albany region currently** So please anyone staying in the park or camping down at Bluff Beach please NO FIRES for the next couple of days!! And that also applies to Fireworks, we cannot afford to risk a fire at Cheynes. The fires at Stirling Ranges & other areas are taking all the resources at the moment so please be respectful for all peoples safety
