24.01.2022 I’ve had the privilege of working with this lovely lady when I was 12 years old, sweeping the floors of her hair salon on a Saturday morning. Today she was my model Very happy with the result of my Divina colour. The grey coverage was spot on. The top was highlighted ever so slightly with some peekaboo darker foils underneath. ... I have just purchased a new Muk curl stick which we tried out as well. All in all it was a great morning. See more

20.01.2022 It’s official Chez Rae is open Atm I’m operating on appointment only basis until my clientele is built up I won’t be turning any one away and happy to work any hours, including nights My number is 0412 493 207... The only day I’m not Avail is Friday’s as I work at the school that day. Still happy to do nights when I get home from work though. I now have a toilet down stairs for clients woot woot-no door as of yet but working on that one atm I’m really happy with what I have achieved its great to know every nail and screw that has gone in is from me, sometimes Jai lol My benches are from my Grandfathers tree that Marcus had slabbed up and I prepared. All the boards are reused from up stairs, and pain stakingly heat gunned and stripped, I’m talking 100 years old. Even down to the door and windows, all reused just revamped. My body aches but it’s done !!!! Big thanks to Tony Casey who has helped out with the frame work. Rusty for the plumbing. Sean whom is a brilliant electrician Bruce Everette for helping me with the front door Troy Elley for his advice on numerous occasions I want to Thank Marcus for the floor, it’s come up absolutely beautiful See more

10.01.2022 Hi everyone, holidays are coming up once again. I'm working the first Saturday/Sunday being the 15th and 16th of September and looks like the last Saturday of Holidays being the 30th of October ( bearing in mind this is a long weekend) so all appointments that day could be subject to change. Please if in need, just text me and I can see where I'm at in if I'm available. Happy holidays to all the Mums and Dads.

10.01.2022 Hi everyone, I’m moving this weekend and will be taking appointments after 5 pm next week. Wednesday is booked. Can’t wait to see you all, I’m having withdrawals

09.01.2022 Before and after today !!!! A full head of dark foils were applied, to minimise the orange in the ends and add colour to the roots. This is Great way to keep a bit of colour when going grey.

05.01.2022 Big change today, from long to short and 3 colours scattered

05.01.2022 This colour was bright red 2 hrs ago. Nice clean blonde considering how hard it is to remove red.

01.01.2022 From light to dark, Beautiful result .

01.01.2022 Update on Chez Rae. "Opening soon" !!! The main part of the salon has been finished off, just waiting on the basin to be put in, painting in areas, sliding door added etc The colour room out the back has still got a fair way to go. The floor needs to be finished off, windows added and walls lined. ... After using Paul Mitchell colour for 13 years, I thought it was time to change brands and try something new. I have purchased all of my new colour products "Divina," and over the next couple of months, I will be looking for models to trial my new colour on. I have already completed a full scalp bleach. A full head of foils ranging in 3 colours with a toner, A level 5 with complete grey coverage. I've been happy with the results so far. Models I will be looking for in the future, will be requiring a chocolate brown, a high lift blonde, copper tones and also a red. So keep in mind if you know of any body. The colour fade on all models so far has been minimal, shine has been great and condition has been perfect. My product range for the basin and also styling, hasn't been confirmed as of yet, but I am leaning towards a few, one in particular "Davroe" 100% Australian, also NATURAL and VEGAN (it feels unreal!!!!) Most of my clients who know me, know that I don't like to push product, especially if it doesn't do the job. But when I find something that is great believe me, I will spread the word. I'm very grateful for such good neighbours that have been letting me apply product in their hair whilst I play around atm, and finding out what works the best. I've always liked good tools and good products to work with. So I need to get this right. I have been researching all the Covid safe instructions for my new business and have my covid safe plan drawn up ready to go. (posters printed and ready to laminate) My focus when I open will be to ensure everyone who attends feels they are in a clean safe environment. I can't wait to open and start doing what I love. Kind regards Kim
