21.01.2022 On International Dog Day #internationaldogday meet the linchpin of our family, SCRUFFY #ididntnamehim Scruffy is 17 going on 18 - spends a big part of the day sleeping - I never see my neighbours anymore because he walks to the corner and gets carried back and I'm probably a few extra kilos than I want to be due to not being dragged around the streets anymore and yes of course Covid can be blamed as well! 19.01.2022 A few years ago I did an online Instagram/Photography course that can I say, is probably out of all the online courses I've signed up for over the years was hands down the BEST! I took many gold nuggets away from it but the one that sticks in my mind is all to do with Social Media and the message that, 'You are the only one that cares if you show up everyday, your followers don't' ..... 10.01.2022 Just like in life when we all have good days and bad days, in the world of styling we can have easy installs and difficult installs For instance, several hours can be saved on styling day with easy access but if there are multiple stairs to go up and down 10,000 tracked steps can be achieved in the 1st hour or 2! I want to thank my team at Chez B this week for going above and beyond with Mondays install. Our clients had been working tirelessly for weeks to get the home ...ready to style but it wasn't finished when we arrived. Claudia grabbed the vacuum cleaner and started on the floors, Leah and Katie grabbed a broom each and we just got in and did it before the professional cleaners arrived to do the Bathrooms and Laundry. Jye and Jeremy did as we asked without complaint and moved some of the clients own furniture into other rooms or out to the garage, the Boys @theartofhanging didn't need to take the extra picture hooks off the walls but they did and with the help of Grandma and Auntie today wiping down walls it's all ready for this evenings photoshoot! 10.01.2022 Who has a Library in their Home? When we purchased our family home 10 years ago in the throws of raising 3 active children it was bliss to move into technically speaking a 7 Bedroom Home. The 3 Downstairs Bedrooms soon became a His Office - a Her Office and - A Library! 10 years later it is still the one room I have no regrets converting from a Bedroom. On weekends you will find me in there reading in my Bay Seat Window and dozing off for an afternoon nap! On Week Days it's... a special spot for a cup of tea and quick recharge surrounded by books on all sides!
