Adult Offerings: Large range of Gelato, Sorbet, Milkshakes and Smoothies. Need to know: Opening just before Christmas in 2019, Chiavelli Gourmet Gelato are located a short walk from the Mordialloc Foreshore. They differentiate themselves by churning their gelato fresh daily with fresh ingredients and a large rotation of flavours. They have a substantial dairy free sorbet range and also gluten free options. They also sell milkshakes and smoothies. They’ll definitely please all members of the family. There are some tables outside the shop or enjoy your sweet delight down at the beach. Our latest visit: We visited on opening day, on a extremely hot day, as a treat for the kids. Instantly, my son’s eyes lit up with all the choices on offer. Given the need for dairy free options, I was very pleased with the sorbet flavours available. Service was friendly and prompt. We loved taste testing flavours before deciding. We decided on mixed berry for my son and passionfruit for myself and my daughter. The passionfruit was the highlight for me. Not a week had passed and we returned again. This visit was especially to try their chocolate sorbet and it did not disappoint at all. Every flavour I have sampled, was delicious and high quality. The chocolate sorbet has been my favourite flavour and I don’t think anything can beat it. Make sure you try it when you visit!
