16.01.2022 always consult your doctor before taking Aloe Vera as it can interact with certain medications & adversely affect those with kidney issues this glass of aloe from the plant in my kitchen takes me back to when I lived on a tiny island off the coast of #Belize & we had a huge aloe plant which I would use on days that I was feeling dehydrated. It has long been used in traditional medicine but as this is something I’ve not studied or practiced in, it’s only something I drink when my plant gets a broken leaf & I take a moment to sip & reminisce on that joyful time (ps. The glass of #kefir in the background is something I do drink almost daily) #aloevera #pauseandreflect #memories #belize #youbetterbelizeit #dontstopbelizen #gloversreefatoll #thatscubalife #areyouhereforthescuba #hydrate

06.01.2022 If you are consuming enough fibre you should be having around 3 bowel movements a day of defined stool (not runny or hard lumps). It is thought that 97% of Australians don’t meet the minimum daily intake of fibre. Don’t think of fibre as a brown powder you mix into water, or a type of cereal. That is not fibre. Fibre is only found in whole plant foods. Fibre is what gives plants there shape (in the same way bones give humans shape). To increase your fibre think fruits, vegeta...bles, beans, legumes & whole grains (oats, millet, barley, buckwheat etc.. not bread & pasta) .Beans & vegetables is the best place to start. High fibre intake has been associated with reduce risk of cancers (particularly colon), type II diabetes & cardiovascular disease and lower cholesterol levels. Also reduced bowel movements (constipation) have been associated with an increased risk of hormonal cancers (such as ovarian). If you want to know more then please msg me or contact me via my website (link in bio ) See more

06.01.2022 These two images show the nutrients my client was getting when we first started working together & since our most recent consult. The results are outstanding. This client wanted to address their energy levels which were 3/10 upon waking, then went 5/10, 7/10, 3-4/10 as the day went on. Their current energy levels are 7/10 upon waking, after breakfast 7-8/10 & then stays there ALL DAY until it naturally dips in the evening. I’m so proud of the work & effort this client has put in to change their lives ! Reach out if you think I could help you reach your goals #nutritionalmedicine #degreecertified #nutritionist #energy #moreenergy #eatingforenergy #feelbetter #wholefoodplantbased #chickpeanutrition
