11.01.2022 Introducing Chicks Salon !!!!!! Formally known as Hair by Laura Smedley, I've decided that with some changes in my life, it was the perfect time for a change in name. Why Chicks? It's my parents' nickname for me and my sisters so I guess you could say I'm naming my business in honour of my fam ... I've been hairdressing for 12 years and recently I took a huge leap and quit my job to start working for myself. Until now, working for other people, I have felt like I couldn't fully express myself. I've not been in a space that let me explore and use my creativity, where my ideas were embraced and celebrated. So I've decided to create that space for myself. To become my own boss lady and start my own hustle and own a space where I can let my creativity free. I've opened a home studio salon and am taking on new clients! So, if you're looking for a change, a new hairdresser or a new style, you've come to the right Chick.
