19.01.2022 ****We are hiring**** The Chief group including Chief Manufacturing and Habitat Screens & Decor are looking for a full time welder. Must be qualified boiler maker or sheety. Have a look through our pages to see the type of work we do.... Our factory is located in Brendale on Brisbane north side so candidate must be a Brisbane local. We are moving into the next phase of our business plan and our customer base is expanding rapidly, therefore we require more workshop resources. The ideal candidate would have aluminium welding experience although not essential. You must be able to read technical drawings as well as chicken scratch drawings supplied by customers and MUST be able to sharpen a drill bit! All short listed applicants will be tested on this! All candidates chosen for the short list will meet all the crew @chief in person as first impressions last and I trust each and everyone of my employees judgment. We have a modern workshop with all the right gear to get the job done properly. The team is small so everyone must pull their weight across the whole business. Being a small crew, the right person must love coming to work every day and love having fun at the same time. Ideally we would like someone with install experience in aluminium products including automated sliding and swing gates, privacy screens, aluminium fencing, pedestrian gates and so on. Rates will be negotiated on level of experience. ... The successful person must be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, be able to think on their feet, be able to work unsupervised and be able to carry out detailed check measures as required. The sucessful person MUST hold a current manual drivers licence with no restrictions. Previous experience in the fabrication of the above mentioned products would be highly regarded as well.
