25.01.2022 Our stage five debating team put up a great display of persuasive skills during their virtual debate this week. They debated against Chifley College Bidwill Campus on the affirmative side. They answered the following statement: Classes at school should be organised by ability instead of age. Even though the team did not win they showed fantastic teamwork and represented our school with pride.

23.01.2022 Our farm is looking spectacular! The students in Mr Kochs class gave Principal Ms Ribeiro a tour, focusing on new garden areas such as the watermelon garden, as well as the now well established native bee hive. CCDC would like to acknowledge our hard working Farm Assistant Mr Deegan for the many hours spent improving and maintaining our farm.

They answered the following statement : Stage four students should only study English, Maths, Science, History and Geography. Even though the team did not win they showed fantastic resilience and pride when completing the debate.

16.01.2022 Each year Penrith City Council invites non-profit organisations and community groups to apply for a grant through the Community Assistance Program to deliver a project to address community needs. During 2019/2020, Chifley College Dunheved Campus was successful in receiving funds to construct a yarning circle in Robin Wiles Park. A yarning circle is a harmonious, creative and collaborative way of communicating to encourage respectful relationships and promote community connections. These cards will be posted to the farmers by Rural Aid to support, cheer, thank and show our appreciation to all the farmers who work very hard to provide us essentials and have endured devastating droughts over the years.
