23.01.2022 All pens are down and examinations completed! That's a wrap of the 2020 HSC at CCSC. Congratulations to every graduating student that completed their schooling in the craziest year! We are all so proud of you at CCSC and hope all of your dreams come true. 23.01.2022 The Chifley College Rugby League program will face a very tough task on Wednesday morning as they face Hills Sports High School in the Round of 16 stage of the NRL Schoolboy Cup. The students within the program should be congratulated for wanting to step up and take on the challenge of playing in the elite schoolboy competition, with the NRL Trophy competition of which the program is a regular participant unfortunately cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19. The students have prep...ared well and have applied themselves to the best of their ability in order to make the most of this huge opportunity. The program has trained three times per week during an uncertain period with no guarantee that there would be an opportunity to play a game. Tune in to the live stream and support the program. You may not be able to physically attend the game, but the support of the school community who we represent is always a huge boost for the boys! Kickoff is at 11am.

01.01.2022 The staff and students at CCSC acknowledge and pay respects to the Elders past and present and we acknowledge those of the future, for they will hold the memories, traditions and hopes of Aboriginal Australians. We must always remember that under the concrete and asphalt this Land is, was and always will be traditional Aboriginal Land. Today CCSC celebrated NAIDOC week. The atmosphere was phenomenal and the day was filled with valued learning opportunities for all students a...nd staff. The NAIDOC 2020 theme - Always Was, Always Will Be. - recognises and celebrates that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. NAIDOC 2020 invites all Australians to embrace the ancient history of this country a history which dates back thousands of generations. The day commenced with a moving student performance based assembly and a touching speech by Jenny Walker, our Relieving Director of Educational Leadership. Classes completed various activities based around the traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander games and past times and I sure that all learnt from these enriching experiences which ranged from playing traditional games, to creating NAIDOC themed posters, cooking Lemon Myrtle Scones, decorating boomerangs, weaving and building sculptures. A great day was had by all and we look forward to celebrations in 2021!

01.01.2022 The beginning is always the hardest. Just ask Junior. But guess what time, practise and resilience equals success. We are so proud to announce that Junior is our STUDENT OF THE MONTH for HSC Minimum Standards. While Junior quickly demonstrated his expertise in literacy, numeracy proved more of a challenge. Junior proved to us all that there is no such thing as failure, except for giving up. As a result, he has now met all his Minimum Standards and is on track for HSC success. Well done Junior we are so proud of you!
