23.01.2022 Tea and toast at Number 10. This 1940s Hotpoint brand electric toaster in the pantry of Chifley Home (No 10 Busby Street Bathurst) was used by Ben Chifley in his parliamentary office in Canberra when he snacked on tea and toast, often in place of a proper meal. The original handmade crochet teacosy is found in the kitchen of the humble 1940s home of Australias 16th Prime Minister. @museums_bathurst ... #museumsbathurst #visitbathurst #visitnsw #bathurstnsw #bathurst2795 #benchifley #chifleyhome #tea #teacosy #1940s #1940shouse #museums #bathurstmuseum #australianprimeminister #australianhistory See more
