Today was an extra special day as our students got their very first Chifley Public School library bag. ... We look forward to our final Friday of Kindergarten Transition where our students will find out about their Buddys for the 2021 school year and also discover their house colour when they receive their new school hat!

24.01.2022 Phase 1 at Chifley PS saw many of our students returning to school for one day a week. To say the teachers were elated is an understatement and the same for our students too! Although many students returned, there are also many who are still unable to at this time. You were missed this week and we are counting down the days until your return. Here are some snippets of our students from the first week of Phase 1.

17.01.2022 Live Life Well @ Chifley Public School https://education.nsw.gov.au//who/live-life-well-@-school
17.01.2022 When students are feeling a little peckish theres nothing like an omelette with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Thats when our girls Coco, Shadow and Snowy step up to the plate. These high-performance laying hens have helped so many students learn so much about active and healthy eating habits that wed like to repay them, with an upgrade to the impressively secure Chook Hilton.... The new Chicken Run will increase by five times the area chickens can free range on, socially distanced from any foxes that might want to ruffle their feathers. The Chook Hilton and Chicken Run will support our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden to extend childrens ability to grow, harvest, prepare and share locally grown produce. They will complement our recently completed outdoor classroom as part of the community learning hub that promotes active and healthy life style choices. Lets help the hens party and the students to eat well. https://www.schoolsplus.org.au/chicken-run/
17.01.2022 Mr Dabron is working hard to keep our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden beautiful and full of fresh fruit and veggies. Have a look at the fruit orchard he has planted! We have lime, lemon, orange and grapefruit trees growing. Our veggie crops are taking off too! ... Mr Dabron has also been making our picket fence chicken run so that the chooks can get out and scratch around in their big back yard. Thank you Mr Dabron for all your hard work and also to our dedicated students and families for their continued support of our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden.

We pay tribute to the men and women who have served our country and in many cases, given their lives for our nation. We also pay tribute to those currently on active service.... They shall grow not old, As we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, Nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, And in the morning, We will remember them. Lest we forget.
