19.01.2022 DO YOU LOVE TYPOGRAPHY? Betty Richards Betty was an intern with Chil3 in 2016 along with @gabfount . She developed the studio's social media and created a beautiful tribute to Adrian Frutiger for her ISTD project for which she received a merit. Betty has been working in the studio ever since, has developed immensely as a designer. She is currently taking some time off, and we wish her all the very best with the birth of her first baby and look forward to welcoming her back... later in the year. "Interning at Chil3 during 2016 opened my eyes to the wonderful world of typography. Becky taught me valuable skills in the crafting of type and layout, as well as an understanding of the finer details all which help to create good, timeless design. 15.01.2022 DO YOU LOVE TYPOGRAPHY? Andrew Reid Andrew was an intern with Chil3 in 2018 and as well as full-time study and an internship was a popular and accomplished sign-writer. While in the studio he worked on the annual report for our pro bono client, the Australian Doctors for Africa. His dynamic and engaging ISTD project was an update of an old sign-writing book (all you need to know in one pack) included some of his hand lettering work. 14.01.2022 SAVE UWA Publishing. Our wonderful client for over 15 years has been told by the University of Western Australia it will be dispensing the press after 85 years of operation. This national treasure, lead by the incredible @terriann.white, publishes groundbreaking work. We urge everyone to sign the petition to urge the University of Western Australia to reconsider its decision and reinstate UWAP. 04.01.2022 Chil3 new project: Louis Renault's Amazing Type A It was great to work again with clients Motoring Past, who tell the story of Renault's sensational invention in this book. This second edition features the adventures of the Type A in The Bonhams London to Brighton Veteran Car Run in 2019. Gold and white foil were used on the red cloth cover with an attention grabbing heading. You want me to drive that? Only months after signing up for the Renault team in Formula 1, Daniel Ricciardo was now challenged to drive Renault’s first racing car the revolutionary design which made the world sit up and notice in 1899. While his race car is a 950Hp missile, the diminutive 1hp racer still scared him!
