25.01.2022 We're running a fantastic parenting program at Glen Huon over the next 5 weeks called Bringing Up Great Kids. We'd love for you to come and check it out. It's free and creche is set up and ready for you! PM us to register.

23.01.2022 Bubs and Grubs is back It is time for all our little outdoor adventurers to resume the group on a Friday morning from 9.00am to 10.30am. We will be teaching them all about gardening and bugs that live in Bunbury Community garden (behind Withers Library).

18.01.2022 Thursdays Pre-Kindy cancelled ! As of Week commencing 2nd of November all children registered to start Kindy at Carey Park Primary School would have been invited to attend the Transition to Kindy Program on a Wednesday afternoon. We have therefore cancelled the Thursday Pre-Kindy class.... Please note: The Pre-Kindy at Hudson Road Family Centre will still continue on a Tuesday afternoon. If you require more information, please call the office on 9721 6991.

17.01.2022 The Incredible Babies sensory play group is needing some feedback of parents with babies (under 12 months). We have 2 options moving forward: 1. Remain on a Friday from 12 - 1... 2. Go back to a Thursday 11.15 - 12.30 We also need to find out if you would like this group to continue through the school holidays (older siblings not permitted).

15.01.2022 Incredible Babies (sensory play) group will be starting again this Friday 12 - 1.45. This is for parents of children 0-12 months (no older children to attend) We will have very limited places available (due to social distancing requirements) and a different structure than previous in all groups. You will be required to register by telephone on 9721 6991.... We will be asking you to adhere to our hygiene practices by sanitising your hands before entering the building and then completing a registration form (temperatures will be required). If you are not registered we will be unable to let you attend the sessions. Families that are unsuccessful with registering at this stage will be added to a waiting list.

14.01.2022 *****New Program***** Kids in the Kitchen commencing Monday 19th October 12.30 - 2.30 pm If you have a child between 2 and 4 years of age that are interested in cooking then this could be for you.... This is an 8 week program that requires commitment to attend all sessions. We are only accepting 10 children onto the program as it is an intensive group. Along with a new recipe each week, your children will also be involved in other activities including virtual shopping, making a herb garden, taste testing and many more life skills. For more details or to apply for a place, please call the Centre on 9721 6991 or message (conditions apply) We will be letting successful applicants know by Friday 16th October.

12.01.2022 We will be running a Who's the Boss Now? workshop in Term 3 on Tuesday the 28th of July at Maidens Park Primary School from 9.00am to 11.00am. 12.01.2022 This week our children at the Child and Parent Centre are looking after the Magical Egg. We are reading, talking, singing and yarning to the Egg. Please come along to our Playgroups to see what happens when we read, talk, sing or yarn to the Egg!

11.01.2022 Investing In Our Youth is running two FREE online Bringing Up Great Kids Parenting Programs via ZOOM starting 27th of May. Two options are available 1.00pm-2.00pm or 7.30pm- 8.30pm and registrations are essential. We will provide assistance with ZOOM if required.

11.01.2022 PLAYGROUP - STARTING TODAY We will be commencing some of our groups this week but with strict guidelines. We will have very limited places available (due to social distancing requirements) and a different structure than previous in all groups. Wednesday (10/6) 9 - 10... Pre Kindy (16/6) - Hudson Rd Family Centre 12.30 - 2pm (18/6) - Child and Parent Centre 1 - 2.30 pm You will be required to register by telephone on 9721 6991. This will be an hour of unstructured indoor/outdoor play for your children but allowing you an opportunity to reconnect with other parents. There will be no craft activity or shared fruit during the session. We will be asking you to adhere to our hygiene practices by sanitising your hands before entering the building and then completing a registration form (temperatures will be required). If you are not registered we will be unable to let you attend the sessions. Families that are unsuccessful with registering at this stage will be added to a waiting list. Only 1 group per family due to limited numbers

08.01.2022 The Child & Parent Centre - Carey Park have been busy working behind the scenes to bring families an exciting new program. If you have children aged between 2 - 4 years of age and free on a Monday lunch time this is for you! More details being released very soon.

07.01.2022 Musical Monday (15/6) - 9am and 11am We will be recommencing with some of our Musical Monday Groups on Monday 15th June. We will have very limited places available (due to social distancing requirements) and a different structure than previous in all groups.... You will be required to register by telephone on 9721 6991. There will only be 2 sessions to allow us extra time to carry out a deep clean of the building between each group. Sessions will be 45 minutes as previous but will not include the making of a musical instrument. We will be asking you to adhere to our hygiene practices by sanitising your hands before entering the building and then completing a registration form (temperatures will be required). If you are not registered we will be unable to let you attend the sessions. Families that are unsuccessful with registering at this stage will be added to a waiting list. Only 1 group per family due to limited numbers
