24.01.2022 Master builders, explorers, artists, scientists and best friends. What a wonderful week we have had at Palmerston Child and family ELC. We even got to see a real digger in our yard. Our friend Ally broke her collar bone so we got to explore her X-ray on our light box. This inspired our doctors surgery in PS 3. Can’t wait to see what everyone gets up to this long weekend. Travel safe, be safe most of all make amazing memories with your families.

20.01.2022 Getting to know our team at Palmerston! Have you met Jodie and Ashleigh? Jodie is our incredible Senior Educator in Play Studio 2. Did you know Jodie ran a very successful family daycare business? How lucky are we that we snapped Jodie up for team?! Jodie is also a mum and works with her daughter Ashleigh. Ashleigh is our Junior Educator in Play Studio 2. Ashleigh has already successfully completed her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care - what a champion! Ashleigh is also our artist who has been creating our chalk displays upon the entry of the service

19.01.2022 To support children and families who maybe at home due to illness or changes we will be sharing an activity, reading a story or experience each day. Today's activity was yoga which can be done either inside or outside. After going through the poses you might like to ask your child to make up their own. Please send us through a photo of you doing yoga so we can share it with the class. Have a great day!

16.01.2022 Today on our morning yard safety check Miss Carolina found a little visitor. We all went inside to practice a lockdown drill while Miss Carolina called the snake catcher. He came straight away and collected our friend to release him in the bush. He showed the children and talked to them about the snake, that he is a baby carpet python, where he should live and how only the snake man can play them. He asked who the children should tell if they see a snake? They all agreed Miss Carolina or mummy. He asked where they live? They all pointed to the bush. We love spontaneous learning here at Palmerston.

16.01.2022 What an amazing day of learning we have had at Palmerston Child and Family ELC today. Who can Build the biggest tower? Puzzles with friends. Stories and laughing with our friends. Slime and frog eggs, we are learning so much about frogs and now we can feel how slimy they feel ewwww.

15.01.2022 Happy Monday Hope you have all had a wonderful day. We enjoyed singing together, cooking together. In PS 3 we had a little visitor we all had look and got to meet our little lizard friend. We all then decided to take him outside and let him back into nature. What a wonderful day full of learning through play. We have also been learning how to wash our hands and talking about our feelings about what we hear about corona virus. We have a wonderful story that helps us feel better.

Pam has the most incredible authentic nurturing practices when working with her infants and young toddlers. Not only is she adored by her peers, but the children and families just love Pam.

Irene holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and has built some wonderful relationships with our children.... Sarah has recently joined our team at Palmerston and comes with years of experience in our sector. Sarah has almost completed her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and is inspired by the environment as being a tool for learning, so she loves being outdoors with the children. 11.01.2022 Getting to know our team at Palmerston... Have you met Sarmiyati and Debora? Sarmiyati, also known as Kotti, has recently joined the Play Studio 3 team. Kotti holds her Certificate III and identifies her greatest strength as an Educator as her ability to nurture and grow relationships with children and to use these relationships as a tool to support children's learning and development.... Debora also recently joined the team at Palmerston in a part time capacity, and primarily works within Play Studio 1. Debora is studying her Diploma but has a completed Certificate III in Early Childhood. Debora has previously worked in a family daycare setting but is enjoying developing her skill set and gaining experience within the broader sector.

Did you know Ploy has almost completed a Bachelors degree in Education and Harneet has a completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.... 05.01.2022 Today the children enjoyed hand print painting to create a rainbow trail to support caring, kindness and involvement in community to stay strong at this time. The Children chose their favorite colour to paint on their hand. Children learning colour and sensory play as well as their community contribution. Miss Lina and Miss Tanisha set up a beautiful trail for us to walk into school with. All of the children commented on the rainbow #rainbowtrail
