We are now taking registrations for an evening workshop series for adults commencing on Thursday 19 November for 4 weeks. Call 9440 1097 to book a space. 23.01.2022 NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each year, usually in July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year because of COVID-19 its a little bit later in the year. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Mirrabooka community have a NAIDOC celebration happening on Thursday 12 November 3.30pm to 7.00pm at Mirrabooka Regional Open Space, 38 Ashbury Crescent, Mirrabooka .HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE :)

The volunteer group she is part of usually make quilts for people undergoing cancer treatment, but they offered on this occasion to donate the most beautiful quilts to some of the families here at the Centre.....a big thank you from us
