13.01.2022 How are you recording your bonds and Enrolments advances from DEEWR? I found that a lot of centres are recoding their income from bank statements. This is technically right and simplifies the process of bank reconciliation. The only problem will appear if you are charging parents for bonds, security cards which are refundable and also your centre is receiving Enrolment advances from DEEWR. All those payments are not income and should be shown on the Balance Sheet as Liabilities. Both bonds and enrolment advances are refundable when the enrolment is exited.
