21.01.2022 Today Childers Quilters Inc gives a BIG shout-out to Elizabeth living in Darlington, United Kingdom. "Hey/Hello/Hi/G'Day" from all of us and especially one of our more recent members Margaret W. Margaret proudly displays her completely handstitched queen size quilt which took 6 months to complete. The individual blocks are self bound. Margaret gratefully accepted stash scraps as long as they were in hues of blue. Well done, Margaret. Beautiful! Margaret and Elizabeth are sisters. Finders keepers Elizabeth, we're happy to keep Margaret on this side of the globe thank you.

14.01.2022 Good afternoon ladies, I trust you are all well and having a lovely Easter. Unfortunately we still can't meet and I have a few photo's I've been trying to post on our page. as yet no luck and I have no idea why it isn't working. I am going to need some training I think, when this is all over. In the meantime stay safe, stay well. At the rate I'm going I'll have to buy a wig.

08.01.2022 Suzanne G has been very busy. She's made this bag while in isolation

07.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. Where have you been I hear you ask. Answer: In lockdown because of my age, over seventy. Enough said about that. Childers Quilters along with a lot of other groups has been in hibernation over the Covid-19 period. Enough about that too. I had an operation in June and have been struggling to get back to normal. Enough about that too. A lot of our ladies have been very busy the last few months finishing UFO's and using up their scraps. Noe to the good bits, I have been receiving photographs of some of our members "lockdown" quilts. I forget the order they came in and knowing me who made what. Anyway my friends please enjoy the photo display.

06.01.2022 Jenny M crafted this funky Pink Floyd quilt for a family member from t shirts and patchwork fabrics. Well done Jenny, so much thought, effort and love went into this creation. The quilt was gifted recently.

02.01.2022 There’s no doubt that COVID-19 is having an undeniable impact on health and well-being. These are unprecedented times as we learn to navigate the future on a daily basis. In the interests of health, safety and doing our part Childers Quilters members are self isolating. Activities are cancelled until a date to be advised.... Take care, good health and safety during this challenging time. Image credit - Circle - www.pixabay.com
