25.01.2022 We had our staff Christmas party today and our 4 awesome team members made this beautiful hamper filled with heaps of Australian made goodies and some international treats too. We are so lucky to have 4 fantastic local women working with us, they make living at The Gateway so much easier. If you have ever stayed at The Gateway you will have noticed our attention to detail with cleanliness and that’s because of these 4 fantastic women. Thank you for the hamper, thank you for the crazy year that has been; we wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Cheers from Geoff, Nicole, Osric & Saskia.

14.01.2022 We are still open here at the Gateway. If you do happen to pass through. Here at the Gateway we have always taken cleanliness seriously and we are taking every precaution during this pandemic. All our rooms are always thoroughly cleaned after each guest and bathrooms disinfected. All sheets and towels are changed and cleaned professionally off site. In addition to this we have removed all cushions and blankets from rooms as we are unable to monitor the usage of these items. W...e are using triple sheeting in line with industry best practice. On top of this all metal surfaces such as door knobs and towel rails as well as all remote controls are disinfected. We are still open and serving dinners 5 days a week and breakfast 7 days. Social distancing laws are adhered to in our public spaces. If you would prefer a self check in, please contact us and we can leave a key for you after payment by credit card. We wish everyone good health. Keep safe.
