20.01.2022 Hi all, at the moment our CHILD website (www.child.org.au) is undergoing a refurbishment. It is still accessible, but can be a bit 'jumpy'. Meanwhile we will post the 'current affairs' here on FB.

10.01.2022 Having a website is one thing (www.child.org.au), having a facebook page is different again. Just some latest info: Next Tuesday Ron (our chair) and I (Gert) heading off to India, with a 'to-do' list, longer than one can imagine. Not much physical work this time, more fine tuning the running of the Home and now the school. W're back on 3 October, just in time to host the 'Dinner/Auction' fundraiser on 8 October. This is at the Briars, in their restaurant 'Josephine' @ Mt. Martha. Still time to book. For the auction we have managed to secure some rather interesting articles: Vouchers for a 'High Tea' at Josephines, a session at the Peninsula Hotsprings, membership of BIG 4 caravan parks, Canadian Bay Bistro in Mt. Eliza, an original signed Aboriginal canvas painting, a quilt/bedspread. Look forward seeing you there.
