14.01.2022 Our kids are not as inspired as they could be, supported like they should be, believed in enough and lack motivation... Sadly it’s due to punching out paragraphs of unemotional literature, reading dull and non-imaginative text that give them no excitement and no ability to dream...... My wish in this life is that children are given a fair go no matter their background and that our education system gets the shake up and wake up it needs. Our children are our future and so much blame is placed on them from adults, when in actual fact it’s adults who are letting them down in the first place. Make a promise to yourself that you’ll give them imagination and dreams by just letting them be them and go on countless adventures and explore the trivial things and really open their minds to unlimited possibility. No matter what you believe in, I believe in this; We may never again get the chance to be their parent and we only have one lifetime with them, as we are now, who we are and where we come from. So let’s make the most of it! Enjoy the weekend friends and be the light- not only for them but with them. You too deserve all of the wonder this world has to offer. Coach Kylie

They’re master observers and may struggle with articulating what they see but they sure know how to express their emotions as a means of communication- and that’s why we must dig deeper to connect with them to show them we understand and love them no matter the mood they’re in or what reaction they give. ... I’d like to take this opportunity to wish well to all who have reached out to Crooked House CLC as there seemed to be a big and unexpected rush. Emotions are running high in this time of major change with new things coming to light, we as a Collective are experiencing the impacts far greater than normal to our Mental and Physical Health. I’m very grateful for the platforms I turn to that enable me to be a person that others can turn to. 11.01.2022 I’m hoping to get time next week to squeeze in some new books into our bookcase... I know not all children read books- which is a sad fact. I believe It’s over-taught and over marked instead of it being a gift of knowledge and the gift of self empowerment. Personally I love short, picture book stories for any age- especially when there’s hidden messages amongst the story ... My favourite atm is all books from Ethicool Happy Monday
