07.01.2022 Broome has recorded its wettest June day since records began. The previous record was 127 millimetres of rain in 24 hours, set in 1968. Overnight Broome received more than 140mm.... West Roebuck near Broome recorded at least 180mm. The Dampier Peninsula road remains CLOSED.
