20.01.2022 It was supposed to be a couple of hours of work, instead it was more like a 12 hour project, I hope it’s worth it! LOL I hand wrote all these labels for my new tea canisters. I did this using procreate and iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil; I will later upload these to Cricut design space and finally cut them using permanent vinyl (Metamark 7) with my Cricut Maker. 11.01.2022 It was a very windy day on October 18th, 2006 in Warragul but for us it was the perfect wedding day! It’s been 5 years celebrating on my own while the man of my dreams has been on the other side, where we will one day celebrate together again; it’s been 14 years we celebrated the happiest day of our lives together I married the man who still makes me feel butterflies when I see his gorgeous face, the man who would listen to me non stop and pay attention to my stories a...nd ideas, always! The man who could be my support at breaking point as I would be his when needed, too. I married a soft, loving, caring, funny, intelligent, good looking man who made me so happy for 9 years of my life. As people say, he was too good for this place and had to leave way too early for me and for all those who love him. We celebrated 9 short years, but we lived those years fully! We didn’t go on holidays like many do, instead we enjoyed our own company at home and for many months living side by side in hospital where we made a nightmare into a holiday at The Alfred; those times made us stronger and made us love each other so much deeper. I miss my sunny boy, I miss him so much every day, every hour, every minute of the day! But my LOVE for him is bigger that the sense of loss. 11.01.2022 My father in law turned 80 this Saturday! Even thought my hubby passed away; we are pretty close and they are basically the only family Tavy and I have in Australia so we care and love each other very much. He has been so caring and helped me so much over the years, for example he did countless hours as a driving instructor For me :) and he has been there every time I’ve needed to be taken or picked up from hospital as well and so many other times where he had taken us to p...laces! But no, he is not only our favourite Uber driver!!! LOL We are always in contact and specially during this last lockdown times we were always talking in the phone. He is a great father in law and I call him dad. James surely left us in great caring hands. For his birthday, a huge milestone I decided to make his wrapping paper and using good ink I wrote happy 80th birthday father in law in many different languages! We enjoy talking about languages For the card I used my Cricut for the letter J and did similar style around it, filling it with happy birthday in a few languages. 04.01.2022 This is a piece I write to my lovely newsletter subscribers and felt I should also share with you. If you know me, you will know that Christmas is not the merriest time of the year for me or my family as we lost James on December 21st 2015. Gifts were ready to be shared and given as well as a plentiful lunch with pudding and all the details arranged. This year had been tremendous for everyone as it started with James being on the line between life and death waiting for a tri...ple transplant, then we celebrated his 46th birthday wishing only Heath to him, as he well deserved. On May that same year he received this precious gift and we embarked on a new life filled with dreams and simple but amazing projects only hoping we could live life and grow older together... As you may imagine his passing felt like a kick in the guts! A slap on the face and at the same time like if someone was also breaking our legs from behind... Year after year his absence is felt like if he had just being taken away from us, but we do our best and celebrate in his name. I’m blessed to have clients around the world who purchase my stuff and so this brings a distraction for me on Christmas time. See more
