24.01.2022 This amazing little girl Rosie, received her very own set of wheels and according to her mum and dad - she just loved them and took off, not slowing down one bit This post is bitter-sweet as I found out that sadly for Rosie she only had a few short weeks to zoom around in her new found freedom before she unexpectedly passed away at home. I wish I had the opportunity to meet her as she sounded like an absolute sweetheart who was loved dearly by her family for the little f...ighter she was! Even though Rosie's story ended too suddenly, I am full of happiness that her last weeks, moments and memories made in life here with her mum and dad by her side, were made that little bit more special because Rosie was able to move around again independently and be the little star that she was Rosie's mum and dad sent me a lovely message explaining her fate (in their own words)... Hi Julie We just wanted to let you know our little Rosie passed away last week. She just fell asleep on the lounge and didn’t wake up. We want to thank you for all your help to make her last few weeks easier. 18.01.2022 What a sad day for our Chillax friend 'Smoke' ..... off to the Oncologist today and found out due to his diagnosis of Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer), he will be having a Fore-Limb Amputation at ARH this Thurs and then he will start Chemotherapy. Lets all send out heartfelt best wishes for a speedy recovery to our beautiful boy Smoke You've got this Smokes - your a strong boy Big HUGS and KISSES from me PS - The Radiograph shows 90% Bone loss from the cancer and this boy is so brave, he's still weight-bearing on it

15.01.2022 Meet this handsome little man 'Tommy' AKA 'Totes'..... He has had a very rough trot the last few months as he had spinal surgery for a mild grade 2 IVDD. Sadly, he went in for surgery with only slight wobbliness in his hind-end and he came home 3 days later unable to walk at all He was such a sad sight, that's for sure Owners were devastated as you can imagine and he was on so many medications that he was experiencing severe nausea, he was depressed and showed absolutely n...o interest in anything and he couldn't hold any food or fluids down so his mum and dad gave him all the love and care he needed - they contacted me and I'm soooo happy they did !! He has come such a long way in the past few months from that sad and defeated boy to this much happier, bouncier and beautiful little character that he was before surgery and is now again He's a very smoochy boy and freely offers kisses He can now walk unassisted and he's back to running with his little mates and ummmm.....digging again too I enjoy my time with this smoochy and cheeky boy #chillaxpetcareservices #caninemyofunctionaltherapist #caninemassagetherapy #canine #happydogs #caninemassage #caninerehabilitation #dachshund #dachshundlife See more

12.01.2022 Our Queen Lucy has sadly crossed over Lucy was such a strong-willed, independent and loyal girl who loved her parent's dearly. She had a very special bond with them which was beautiful to see! Lucy was always the protector of both home and family and any passers by would know it by hearing her deep guttural growl, that she was the one in charge and allowing them to pass! Sitting outdoors in the sun, over looking the lagoon and watching people pass by was Lucy's all ...time favorite spot! Lucy passed away peacefully at home with both her mum and dad holding her and I feel this alone takes strength, courage, selflessness, love and heart as it's so difficult when faced with the inevitable decision of knowing when to call it and not allowing their pet to suffer or loose dignity! As tough as it was for her parent's to make that decision, they didn't waiver in their love and care for Lucy - they did what they needed to do with broken hearts and I feel this is such a special moment in time for everyone, especially for the pet as this enables them to pass over peacefully without fear and have a heart full of love. I know Lucy will forever be looking over her mum and dad and will continue being the family protector that she always was while here in the living!! I am so grateful to Lucy's mum and dad for gifting me the pleasure, the opportunities and time to help Lucy keep her independence and mobility for as long as possible... Sadly her body finally had no more left to give So THANK YOU Michael and Amanda for entrusting Lucy's care in my hands - Please know that I will always be grateful and it means the world to me!! XO Lucy will forever be in my heart and soul and I will always think of her and smile - her amazing personality, those beautiful long ears of hers and her sometimes stubbornness, always made me laugh Lucy made such an impression on my heart and I hope she can now run free and allow those long legs of hers to really open up and show all the other puppers up there what a Great Dane can really do... 03.01.2022 This very lil and sweet girl Xena has had a super rough start to her very short life (now approx 6weeks old).....a beautiful family has taken her in with her brothers to bring them into good health and good weight - the brothers have gone onto a rescue group and they're all very sweet kittens too but Xena got left behind because she has an injury to her left fore-leg. She has had Xrays and the Orthopaedic Specialist Dr David Lidbetter, confirmed that she doesn't need surgery ...however she may end up with a limp and for this reason, we need to find her the perfect place to call home and someone who will appreciate her specialness - yes, that's now a word! Lol If you may be interested in rescuing this little girl, she comes with vet healthcheck, worming, bedding, bowls, litter tray and food etc all she'll need is her vaccinations and desexing once she's a bigger girl. She is already litter trained and is loving hanging out with her pupper friends Please PM me if you have any questions etc and please feel free to share wide!!
