24.01.2022 Hi all Happy New Year!!! Its been awhile. Have just spent most of the holiday period visiting family in New Zealand and had a fabulous time. I hope you a had a fab holiday season too. Cant help sharing the little notes we receive, it is the best feeling to know that your efforts are appreciated! 24.01.2022 Greeted some lovely kiwi guests a few days ago. While standing on the deck we had a conversation that started with me: "Welcome to Brisbane in winter, only 24 degrees today" "I doubt you will need the extra blankets but they are there if you need them!" Kiwis sweltering: "when we left home this morning it was minus 3 degrees!" MINUS 3! And I say again....."how lucky are we to live here!"

18.01.2022 As suggested by guests, we are now slightly more child/baby friendly at Chill. With a high chair available on request and a gate to stop toddlers (and pets) from leaving the deck.

13.01.2022 Hi all Just a quick update... Hawthorne on the Park is up to her 5th set of guests and every single one of them have commented how "at home" they feel and how much they love the place! We have even had one couple offer to buy the place (not joking) they just loved the location so much. ... Chill is going great too. She has a new larger BBQ and an extra bed so she can now sleep 7 in comfort. We currently have a lovely local family (plus their gorgeous dog and guinea pig) calling her home, while they renovate their place at Coorparoo. Its so lovely finding hand written notes from appreciative guests after they have headed home. Thank you all for your like and shares. Xx

11.01.2022 Good morning all! It has been awhile but we have been busy in the background looking for ways to improve our service and implementing lots of guest suggestions. We are also pleased to introduce Bella Bulimba. She will be up and running in December of this year.Bella is another gorgeous 3 Brm Queenslander located in Bulimba, about 50 meters from Oxford Street and all its cafes, restaurants, movies, gift stores, boutique bars and Memorial Park and playground.

And because she is just so gorgeous, Hawthorne on the Park has a new air conditioner in the kitchen/dining and we have changed the daybed mattress and pillows to something a little more outdoor friendly. We also have a cute little table and chairs for the front deck and the frangipani is flowering beautifully.

We have people booking for junior basketball championships, someone else is heading up for a family reunion, we've got weddings, hens nights and baby showers. I have even had an inquiry from someone who is local but renovating his house and needs to get his family out for a few weeks. 06.01.2022 Yet another stunning day in Brissey! Note to friends of Chill: If you are thinking about booking I would suggest that you do it sooner rather than later. It seems everyone loves Brisbane. June is fully booked. July, August and September are at about 50% at the moment and October is completely full.

02.01.2022 Wow what a fantastic last two weeks of booking requests! 68 nights booked with another 14 nights pending. October has been completely booked out by a lovely local family who are renovating their own place, in July I have a lovely Norwegian group staying and June is nearly full already. So looking forward to meeting everyone!
