21.01.2022 "In times of great change and global uncertainty we are sometimes at a loss to find stability and peace within. Yet, we are supported endlessly by the wisdom of the ages. Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu is a mantra of power that assists us in our spiritual evolution and acts as a blessing for the world." Say it and send your love out in to the universe. Now more than ever, we need it.

19.01.2022 I love practising gratitude, reflection, and intention-setting, particularly at this time of year. It feels so refreshing and energising to release the year just gone, and embrace a brand sparkling new one. If it isn't something you've tried before, I highly recommend it! I got this cute little "write and release" ritual kit as a Christmas gift this year, it's going to be perfect for end-of-year closure. You don't need anything fancy to have your own release/intention-setting session though - some paper and a pen will do, or even just some quiet time set aside to ponder the year you've had and what you learned, and what you want your next year to look like.

18.01.2022 A weekend of free yoga! Join me at Forde for the 9.15 Slowflow class on Sunday!

16.01.2022 Phones out of sight and out of mind please!

16.01.2022 Hi guys! How are you all? It's been a while. I hope that amongst the chaos that has been 2020 so far, you've managed at some point to find some peace, clarity and connection. I just started my Sunday with this heavenly soft practice, a collaboration between Rachel Brathen (Yoga Girl) and Beautiful Chorus Divine ... It's a 30 minute, very slow and gentle practice that doesn't come up from the floor. Treat yourself to a little stretch - pop your earbuds in and float off to bliss https://www.facebook.com/rachelsyoga/videos/310158483672063/

03.01.2022 Have you ever wondered what Yoga is? Have you ever decided that it’s not for you without even experiencing a regular practice? We guarantee that if you practi...ce Yoga regularly, it will change everything you think you know about it Here is a little bit of background information about Yoga from @yogajournal The word yoga, from the Sanskrit word yuj, means to yoke or bind, and is often interpreted as "union" or a method of discipline. A male who practices yoga is called a yogi, a female practitioner, a yogini. The Indian sage Patanjali is believed to have collated the practice of yoga into the Yoga Sutra an estimated 2,000 years ago. The Sutra is a collection of 195 statements that serves as a philosophical guidebook for most of the yoga that is practiced today. It also outlines eight limbs of yoga: the yamas (restraints), niyamas (observances), asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), pratyahara (withdrawal of senses), dharana (concentration), dhyani (meditation), and samadhi (absorption). As we explore these eight limbs, we begin by refining our behavior in the outer world, and then we focus inwardly until we reach samadhi (liberation, enlightenment). Today, most people practicing yoga are engaged in the third limb, asana, which is a program of physical postures designed to purify the body and provide the physical strength and stamina required for long periods of meditation. But there is much more to learn if that is what you are looking for, you will experience the many aspects of Yoga with the variety of experienced teachers at Change Yoga Studio. Come to a class for free on International Yoga Day on Friday 21st June #changeyogastudio #yoga #pilates #barre #meditation #slowdow #yogajournal
