24.01.2022 Wouldn't it be great if all of this rain was to wash away 2020 and corona. Goodbye to all of it. Some things have been great others not so. Great that we are all holidaying in our own back yard and that is what will keep our economy going. I have always spent a lot of time banging on about supporting your own before others. This two way street is now so open so lets make the most of it until it closes again and folks are allowed to travel abroad. Everyone wants a break so pack your bag and take it, where every it takes you in our beautiful amazing country. 24.01.2022 Check out this beauty. A gift from a departing guest. They got it at Toumlin and were very impressed with the price. Maybe worth a trip for locals and travellers to grab one. Thankyou Karen Wright it was a lovely surprise and very appreciated. Hope to see you guys again one of these days and have a safe trip back home

07.01.2022 A sad day for me today. My sassy cockatiel Buzzi died. Been with me from hand raising him in 1994. I knew it was coming the last couple ofdays when we had the cold spell that something was not right and he was so old. However does not make it any easier to loose a pet that has been with you for almost half your life only 4 years off it. Too sad to even look for a picture

01.01.2022 Look out for the post that one of our guests has threatened to put on face book about us. Some people just push the boundaries and cannot follow rules and regu...lations especially in these covid times. Given an inch and took a mile and then come at me with puffed out chest when I try to tell them how it will be. Chest flattened a bit when he saw the bloke behind me. Always one to ****** up Christmas time. Cannot please everyone and they have not been easy or sticking to the rules of the property since they got here. So much so that one of the other guests complained about them to us on the first day of their stay. Oh well lets move on for a wonderful Christmas lunch See more
