16.01.2022 We sat down with Queensland's Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young to answer some of our frequently asked questions about the Greater Brisbane lockdown. Ques...tions to look out for in this Q&A include: 1. Why is a single case causing the lockdown? 2. Should we be concerned this person has 79 close contacts? 3. Why is the lockdown for 3 days? 4. Can I travel through Brisbane during the lockdown? 5. Can I still catch my flight to Brisbane airport and then transit to another area? For example, fly into Brisbane and then travel to the Sunshine Coast? 6. I have a flight scheduled to fly home from my holiday in Brisbane. Can I still travel? 7. Do I need to wear a mask while exercising outdoors? 8. What if I do not own a mask? Will I be fined for not wearing one if I need to leave for an essential reason? 9. Can I still donate blood? 10. Who is considered an essential worker? 11. If I come into Brisbane for an essential purpose during the lockdown, can I travel outside of the Greater Brisbane area?
