Author Irena Kobald visited the College, Irena ran two workshops for students in Years 1 2, where they discussed the themes and messages in her book My Two Blankets. Prep students created Bio-Art with Irena from natural material within the College grounds.

18.01.2022 Instrumental Music End of Year Music Concert Students performed for families and friends a showcase of 2020 learning on Thursday 12 November at the Chinchilla Cultural Centre. Congratulations to the bands and to the conductor, Mr Zac Corbett for a great concert.
17.01.2022 Year 2 students are studying Heat and Fire in the Bible. Students learnt about bushfires and the role of a fire tower, they were then given the task of designing and constructing their own tower.

15.01.2022 Congratulations to Ben Slater, the winner of Groovin’ from the Garage - The Originals competition. Ben competed against many other artists from across the Western Downs, before ultimately taking out the prize with his original song titled ‘So Long, July.’
15.01.2022 This week, Prep A and B focused on the fairy tale of The Little Red Hen. For Celebration Friday, students decorated cake with icing and sprinkles, similar to the hen in the tale who baked a cake.

07.01.2022 Year 4 students are studying the Solar System through a curriculum connections unit titled 'The Heavens Declare the Glory of God'. The last few weeks students have been learning about the sun. Students were given the opportunity to explore solar energy through a solar balloon. The sun shines on the black material of the balloon, heating the air inside. The heated air expands and has lower density than the surrounding air, causing it to lift off the ground. It works similarly to a hot air balloon.

Izaak and Olivia have been invited to attend masterclasses in acting in Brisbane on Friday the 16 October and to perform their Romeo and Juliet duologue at the La Boite’s Roundhouse Theatre at Kelvin Grove on the Saturday.
02.01.2022 The CCC Science department put on a Science Show for Secondary students. This experiment is called fire bending, the students enjoyed seeing Mr Kenealy volunteer.
