22.01.2022 To all the Year 12s who are sitting their external exams for the next 2 weeks...we are wishing you all the best. :)

22.01.2022 Join us in this Mental Health Day of Prayer. Loving God, as people of faith have prayed and lived out for eons we seek to love you with all of our hearts, all... of our souls and all of our minds. During this month that is focussing on mental health we realise that our minds are a huge part of who we are as individuals and who we are as followers of you. Give us the courage to ask the caring questions around our own mental health and the empathy to walk alongside others. Amen. Rev John Ruhle, Associate General Secretary

21.01.2022 #MondayMiddayPrayer Loving God, we lift up to you the people meeting for the 35th Synod; bless them with discernment, humility and faith as they do their work together.

13.01.2022 This morning we worshipped with the Leichhardt Patrol, using the below video in church. A BIG thankyou to Graham for all your hard work in providing services, it was very much appreciated. :)

13.01.2022 The 35th Synod began with the induction of a new Moderator. Synod is online this year and we pray for all those involved, watching from all over Queensland. A round of applause to the tech team who will work around the clock to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

10.01.2022 Rev John Ruhle has shared this #prayer for Father's Day. Heavenly Father, As we celebrate Father’s Day we think about our dads. Dads nearby and dads far away.... Dads who have been there for us through the good and bad times, and dads who have struggled to know what it means to show unconditional love and support. We give you thanks for fathers and grandfathers who are role models to other men to show them what it means to be a dad who creates an environment of safety and encouragement that allows children and families to thrive and flourish. We give thanks that we can call you our heavenly father and for the comfort and peace this brings so many people. In this time of disconnect due to social isolation, self-quarantine and a global pandemic we acknowledge that more than ever we all need to feel connected. Connected to our communities, our families and our dads. So this father’s day, we give thanks and pray a blessing on all the dads who have shown us something of your love and your grace in our lives. In your name we pray. Amen. See more

08.01.2022 Amid COVID-19, hope can seem far away and joy a distant memory. In Romans 12:9-20, Paul writes to the community in Rome, outlining the shape that their shared l...ife should take in terms of their love for one another, and their neighbours, in response to God’s love for them. One phrase from Romans 12:12 captured Rev David Baker's imagination when thinking about our church, shared life and love for one another and neighbours in this time: Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. If we need reminding of how we are to be together in these times, Paul’s phrase offers us just that. He reminds us our hope is in Christ, and our joy comes in response to God’s love for us, no matter the circumstances.

06.01.2022 This Sunday (13th Sept) we will be holding a special service to mark the conclusion of placement for Pastor Tanya Errey. We will be gathering to celebrate her ministry as Pastor within the church and community over the past 6 years and welcome you to join us. Service commences at 9:30am.

03.01.2022 Maria Keating and Tanya Errey invite you to a special service tomorrow morning recognising the grief and loss of families and individuals who have lost a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or termination. Saturday 19th Sept 11am at Keatings Funeral Chapel
