This planned focus was based off the children's interest with reading books and making different farm animal sounds. Our Little Explorers participated in planting flower seeds as we are moving into the season spring. The children frequently watered the seeds and observed how the plants grow. ... The educator has planned a number of experiences that'll encourage the babies to enhance their vocabulary skills and become familiar with numbers. Such as counting objects, singing number songs and reading books that involve counting. Little Explorers have focused on physical activities to develop their gross motor skills and body balance. This week the Tiny Wanderers were very creative with their natural materials using their creativity to create beautiful sun catchers with leaves and paper plates! The Tiny wanderers have started a new week exploring their gross motor skills using different activities each day to help the children develop new skills such as balance, grip and control. The tiny wanderers are also developing interest in colours and engaged in group time with flash cards with their educators. They had great fun working as a team using their concentration to create large towers!
