25.01.2022 Qantas 747-400ER VH-OEJ seen departing Brisbane Airport for the very last time last week. Not going to lie, got a bit emotional today as she left Australian shores for good. Thanks for the memories, I always loved flying on the 747 :)

25.01.2022 Finally captured the odd looking AN-12, UR-CNT. It sure is a loud aircraft and actually looks good for its age, it comes in at 50 years young :)

The Qantas A330, Air NZ 787 and 7x VH-CRW were all taken from the spotters Loop :)... I know I keep saying it but I truly hope that things are going as good for you as they can be. The world has changed as we know it but we can all do our bit to make it just that bit easier for ourselves and others :)

19.01.2022 Conair Aerial Firefighting Dash 8-400 C-FFQE arriving into Brisbane Airport earlier today. I believe this is the first time we have had this type of aircraft in Australia. It stayed here for a few hours before heading off to Bundaberg

18.01.2022 Good evening everyone! Welcome to all the new people to my page. Thank you all for liking my page. A little bit about me. I am originally from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory where I spent 23 years all up with 7 years in Darwin. Living in Darwin, we went to Mataranka for the weekend. Our campsite was right on a fence. As my parents say, when we got there, I grabbed my chair and sat at the fence, staring through the fence at a small dirt airstrip. No one had told me w...hat it was, I had picked out it was due to markings. Dont think I saw anything that day haha. While still living in Darwin, I managed to convince my father to drop me at Darwin Airport for a few hours so I could watch aircraft come and go. No camera, just memories :) We relocated back to Alice where many years later, I managed to get a job at Alice Springs Airport as a Baggage Handler. I was over the moon! Here I was, working around aircraft AND getting paid for it! Absolutely loved my time there. Fast forward to January 2018, I left the NT to start a fresh in Brisbane. In June of the same year, I scored a job at Brisbane Airport as a Baggage Handler. I now to get to push back aircraft, something I didnt get to do until now. Every push I do, I get excited, every day Im on ramp, Im excited. Ive met some incredibly awesome people and continue to do so. I was also incredibly lucky yesterday to get this close to the final Qantas 747-400ER on its Farewell Tour. So once again, welcome to my page and thank you everyone, not just the newbies but thank you every single one of you for liking my page :) Enjoy :)

17.01.2022 Yesterdays sunset was just stunning. Lucky I had time and some willing models who added to the sunset :)

16.01.2022 Sun sets on another great day. I treasure these moments even more now. Hoping to see more crews back in the air soon :)

15.01.2022 9V-SHQ operating SQ256, Brisbane to Singapore earlier today. Of interest with SHQ, it was only delivered to Singapore Airlines on the 15th of October this year. With current world events, a lot of airlines are using passenger aircraft to operate purely cargo flights to help with the increase demand for freight travel. Brisbane Airport regularly has international flights come and go doing just that. Sometimes they will have pax as part of repatriation flights but as I am down domestic end, I am unsure as to how often this occurs. Be safe, be merry, take care of each other be kind to yourself and each other :)

13.01.2022 Alliance Airlines Fokker 100 VH-UQC resting up at Brisbane Airport. I have a decent model aircraft collection which include UQC in Alliance livery. Most of my models are 1:200 scale, diecast metal. That's another hobby of mine, collecting model aircraft :)

13.01.2022 Love the rising sun glistening off the early morning dew :) Page announcement coming tonight! I am in the process of growing my page. All will be revealed VERY soon :)

13.01.2022 Looked on Flightradar24 and thought, hmmmm why is a Air NZ aircraft headed this way this early? Ah probably going over... Clicked on him and saw he was coming in from Los Angeles. Turns out this is the first time an Air New Zealand aircraft has flown from LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) to Brisbane Airport! While Air NZ is a regular (still somewhat) visitor to Brisbane Airport, its nice to see something a little different like the point of departure :)

13.01.2022 Singapore Airlines A350 dropping into Brisbane yesterday afternoon

13.01.2022 Taken today. The last ever departure of a Qantas The Boeing Company 747-400ER before retirement. Farewell my lady, Thanks for the memories both recent and years gone by. You spawned many peoples fascination with Aviation. Big thanks to Qantas for allowing these select flights to go ahead. It is appreciated by many so thank you again :)

09.01.2022 Bit of fog at Brisbane Airport this morning. Heres QantasLink Dash 8-400 VH-QOK operating QF2332 to Gladstone, about to commence its takeoff roll :)

09.01.2022 Some sad news for Brisbane/QLD spotters today. The venerable Dash 8-300 wont be returning to QLD skies in Qantaslink livery. The 300 has been out of QLD skies since the 21st of April but today was marked as not coming back. I believe itll remain in the overall fleet but in other parts of Australia as things recover somewhat, however Im not entirely sure. I grew to like the 300. It had a different engine noise, looks like it means business and it also introduced me to some ...incredibly awesome people and also made some awesome memories with the 300. My personal car even has a 300 rego on it, SBG 04, 04 been a parking bay. My heart goes out to those crews affected. I hope to see you on ramp again soon- Ive missed you all. Take care and we will meet again soon :)

09.01.2022 VH-LQQ resting up at Brisbane Airport recently

08.01.2022 Qantas Boeing 747-400ER arriving onto bay 24 at Brisbane Airport after a short hop up from Sydney. What a fantastic day today was! I am so incredibly thankful for the opportunities I had. Surprisingly, I didnt get to always photograph its movements as I had other work to do. Massive shout out to those of you who made this possible!

08.01.2022 Over recent times, with aircraft been parked up, engines have required covers to be placed on them, to protect them from anything making its home in there. As seen in other parts of Australia, the crews putting the covers on have had some fun with them as well here at Brisbane Airport. Here is a small selection of the different faces and games of Naughts and crosses been played :)

07.01.2022 VA9017 off to LAX, gently lifting the nose into beautiful afternoon light

06.01.2022 VH-OJT resting up at Brisbane Airport back in 2018. As far as I am aware, the flight it operated after I took this photo, was its second to last before retirement in the US.

03.01.2022 Qantaslink Dash 8-300 resting up at Brisbane Airport earlier this year. Due to COVID-19, the Dash 8-300 isnt flying in QLD at this stage. I miss seeing it around, I miss loading and unloading it but overall, I miss the Crews. I miss everyone who has been stood down, whether they are 300 Dash 8 crew or 400 Dash 8 crew. Be safe, reach out #AviationStrong

02.01.2022 Few photos from the past few days showcasing 2 of the different aircraft types used for Qantaslink operations, the Dash 8 Q400 and Boeing 717s. Hope everyone is doing the best they can in the current situation. Be kind to yourself and others #AviationStrong
