25.01.2022 We regret to report the passing of John Kyriakidis, who was the club’s Treasurer for a number of years. John’s son and daughters played at the club. He and his wife Carol were wonderful volunteers who were always on hand to help out. The family moved to Queensland a few years back. John was a fine man and an excellent committee member.... Sincerest sympathy to John’s family. May he Rest In Peace.

25.01.2022 Wishing you a healthy & happy 2021. From CNFC Committee

24.01.2022 Grading / Meet the coach night/s: The Club's dates for grading trial selections and team allocations (meet the coach), are listed in the attached table. Please ensure you have registered online before the dates listed. It is expected that all age (competitive) ages will be trialling for Division 1 or 2, with additional teams in any age group to be appropriately graded - final grading subject to team nomination with the District.... A grading process will be applied as appropriate for age categories 12+ on the advertised nights. In addition, the Club will continue with player 'development', by grading teams in U/10 and U/11 in 2021. It is anticipated that there will be teams selected that have players and coaches prepared to play against stronger teams (in readiness for U/12 competitive grades), with an expectation of training 2 nights per week generally (from U/10 through U/16+). These teams are to be coached and supervised by appropriately accredited coaching personnel, and we welcome new coaches to these age teams. Assistance will be provided to attain accreditation, as required. Further advice regarding expectations of the Grading and 'Meet the Coach' nights will be posted in due course - as the Club is further advised on the status of the new player registrations to our Club. Interested coaches, at any age / grade (boys / girls), are encouraged to express their early interest. The Club looks forward to greeting all new and returning players and coaches.

13.01.2022 Well done to the L12/1's and L14/2's on their 3 - 1 wins over Kemps and Olympic respectively, in the heat at Ernie Smith Reserve today. Both teams had great seasons, with the 14s being minor premiers and the 12s finishing undefeated. The 12's also had 2nd runner up (Emalee Symonds-Poynton) and first runner up (Amira Shalak) in the competition MVP awards, with Emalee also winning the golden boot for most goals scored. It's the boys' turn next week, with the 12/3's and 13/2's in action at Ireland Park on Saturday.

04.01.2022 CNFC and the District celebrated the end of a great season today - for no other reason, than 'we got to play'. Well done to all 'non-comp' teams that played at SP today, but more generally to all teams / clubs, for simply 'hanging in there' and playing out the most challenging of seasons. South Park hosted the most enjoyable of days for ages 5 though 11 today. Thanks to all (70) teams that attended our venue today. It looked like great fun for all! Enjoy your off-season, and we'll see you back at SP in 2021.
