25.01.2022 Last week our Cubs made poppies and tonight we took them to the Light Horse memorial at Holsworthy. We learned about their service during WWI and paid our respects. Lest we forget.

15.01.2022 This year our group got a Community Building Partnership Grant from Melanie Gibbons MP to renovate our kitchen. Part 1 of that project started today, with the demolition of our existing wardrobe and repairing of the walls. Stay tuned over the next few weeks to see our storage space transformed.

13.01.2022 This week was very special at Chipping Norton as we presented a Grey Wolf Award to one of our members, Drew. The Grey Wolf Award is the highest award that can be earned in the Cub Scout section and requires a lot of hard work and dedication. Bravo Drew!

12.01.2022 ANZAC Day normally sees our Cubs, Scouts and Venturers attend Dawn services in Liverpool and Martin Place. Instead, our group is commemorating ANZAC Day from home along with Scouts across NSW. Lest we forget

12.01.2022 Scouts is back for term 4 at Chipping Norton! This week our Cubs reused rubbish to build boats. Thanks Matthew for leading a great activity.

11.01.2022 First night back for Term 3 saw our Scouts testing their physical fitness with exercises on flexibility, balance, hand-eye coordination, reaction time and lung capacity. Some of our Scouts even had their first experience with a blood pressure cuff

10.01.2022 Today our Cubs enjoyed a day out in the Georges River National Park, bushwalking and exploring nature.



10.01.2022 Unfortunately our Scout hall was affected by the recent floods in Chipping Norton. Lucky for us a team of dedicated members and their families have worked this weekend to clean up the hall and surrounds. Thanks to everyone who helped, we couldn’t have managed without you!

02.01.2022 August is Scouts in action month, and this year the theme is flight. Our Cubs have spent the last 2 weeks learning about flight and organisations like the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia. We made paper aeroplanes and used radios to convey messages.
