25.01.2022 Farmyard Friends and Farmer James had a cracking time helping to bring a little part of the bush to the city for the 16th year of the Rural Discovery Day at RNA... Show grounds. Its super important to educate our children where our food actually comes from and how it gets to the supermarket. Primary School children from around Brisbane participated in activities that simulated a real farm experience. Gaining a new found respect and appreciation for the essential contribution our farmers make all while having loads of fun. 21.01.2022 Chicken hatching programs are a wonderful way for children to learn about life cycles. Many schools are studying this at the moment and what better way to have fun and learn all at the same time!!

20.01.2022 DUCKLING SEASON has started. Such cute little characters. Hatching programs as well as CARE PACKAGES are available. Hatching programs for chickens or ducklings run for 2 weeks. Care packages can run from 3 days to 2 weeks - great for school holidays, parties, special events etc. We can design them to suit your situation.

20.01.2022 EKKA will be here very soon. To most of us that means the farmers coming to the city to show off their beautiful animals and produce. It can be difficult for many to get to the ekka to enjoy seeing the animals. Why not have a chicken hatching ptogram or chicken care package instead. Great for promotion in shops, aged care facilities, child care centres etc. There are limited bookings so dont delay!

If you dont want to do the whole hatching program we offer you just baby chicks or ducklings (approx 8) in a brooder box with all equipment, food, bedding etc. Great as something different for aged care facilities, shops, etc. Particularly while the EKKA is on. Call for a quote!

07.01.2022 Hi all - hoping everyone is ok and managing themselves and families safely. Chirpee Chicks is still operating as best possible - all equipment being disinfected and all precautions taken. Totally realise that bookings will be reduced significantly - already had cancellations from aged care facilities and schools. We have some private bookings to keep kids entertained at home. This is a great option. We will eventually get through this. Keep safe and look after each other.

07.01.2022 We were at St. Francis for the last 2 weeks with the chicken hatching. Collected the programs on Friday. What wonderful children - so polite and thanked me for bringing the chickens to their school! Brings so much joy when children have enjoyed the program so much. Not to mention how polite they were. A credit to parents and teachers. Look forward to seeing you again St. Francis!!
