11.01.2022 TERM 2 UPDATE: CHISELHURST KINDERGARTEN IS OPEN FOR ALL STUDENTS TO RETURN THIS MONDAY 11th MAY QLD Government announced the following rollout plan yesterday: On Monday 11 May 2020, Kindy, Prep, Year 1, Years 11 & 12 students will return to their state school or community kindergarten, joining children of essential workers, vulnerable children, & children in designated Indigenous communities. ... All other students will continue to learn at home. If low transmission rates continue, students in Years 2 10 will return to school from Monday 25 May. 05.01.2022 EXCURSION DAY! Today we travelled to Amaroo to explore the environment & experience Indigenous culture. Amaroo is located on Jarowair/Giabal country; we pay our respects to the Indigenous elders past, present & emerging. A BIG thank you to principle Cam, Paul & Dave for teaching us how to to care for our Self, Care for Others, & Care for Country. The children loved making music & performing an indigenous dance. 03.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE: QLD Department of Education has announced Term 1 break for students will now commence next Monday 30 March 2020. Five student free days have been declared for state schools & Kindergartens from 30 March-3 April. As such, last day of term 1 at Chiselhurst Kindergarten will be tomorrow (Friday 27th March). Provisions will be made for some students (e.g. special needs students, or the children of required workers in required workplaces). For further informatio...n please contact Chiselhurst Kindergarten on (07) 4632 2044. Administration is closed today for Toowoomba Show Public Holiday & will open tomorrow at 8am. 03.01.2022 I dont know what they said, but I look completely dumbfounded! Kids are pretty smart these days...especially at the lovely Chiselhurst Kindergarten Association... Inc. The children were giving me their ideas of what the Toowoomba City Centre will look like in ten years. FYI....lots of flowers and community spaces! I took some gifts but the teachers made the children repeat their saying you get what you get, and you dont get upset. Love it!
