I am convinced that you CANNOT take the hard rigid Karate of your youth into your mature years, othe...rwise you look like an old man trying to do a young man's Karate. 'Tanden power,' suppleness in movement, and a continuous flow are what I'm trying to develop. That is what I have been taught by our Soke, the son of Dr Chitose, however, my attempt is, at best, a mediocre representation. (Now I'll sit back and wait for the keyboard warriors to tell me everything I'm doing wrong - go easy guys, it's only practice.) See more
