24.01.2022 Well today the lambs were marked and the ewes and rams drenched. It was very HOT! Still another job out of the way. Put them out on eastern side which has been resting. The only problem is the dams which are either dry or very suss. Will have to put a trough out for them. The problem is that the good grass is down the bottom with the worst dam. Still ypu can only do what you can.

23.01.2022 Where are our manners? Good luck to all those competing at Bendigo. We wish you well but we think we could have given you a run for your money.LOL We will miss the social interaction. Enjoy the show!

23.01.2022 Well with the drought we have sold our comnercial sheep. Only have 8 stud sheep left. It was a hard decision but as we look around at dirt paddocks it was for the best. When this breaks is anyone's guess.

22.01.2022 Well Warwick has gone to his new home along with 10 ladies and their bubs. He was no gentleman. He scrambled over the backs of the girls who stalled at the ramp up to the trailer. HE was not going to miss out on any food if it was going to be in the trailer. Lisa and Todd we wish you well and hope to see you showing him.

14.01.2022 Grass is non existent so we are selling our commercial ewes with lambs at foot. PM us as FB doesnt like prices

12.01.2022 Arrived in Bendigo for the Sheep and Wool Show after getting lost. The 2 girls travelled well. Bronwyn is an old hand but Beth is new to it. Such a lovely lot of Wilties all in one place. Just love the atmosphere

10.01.2022 Well only an hour to go and we are home after a super time at Bendigo Sheep and Wool Show. The helpful folks to help us. Jason for checking if we were on track getting there. We weren't, we got lost as I couldnt get google maps to speak and all I had was a blue line on my screen with no idea as to where we were on the blue line. John our President for noticing that Beth nearly knocked Vic out when she jumped and that Vic was looking as though he was in disney land. Then he w...ent to get a medic. The 4-5 ladies that patched Vic up. Cathie and Darren for being a pilot vehicle getting around Bendigo. Cathie, Darren and Jill for helping us to load up to come home.Cathie had Bronwyn who walked out on her lead whilst poor Jill did some gymnastics work with Beth until she got out the shed and then decided she could be good. Without all this help it could have been stressful. However thanks to your help you made our time there most enjoyable See more

09.01.2022 The girls in their pens

07.01.2022 We are going to be reducing our ewes by 50 head. We will sell in lots of 10 for eighty eight dollars per head including gst. Pm if interestef. These are some random shots of some of the flock.

04.01.2022 Bronwyn lady in waiting. She gets a special dish as she can't understand why she is not on the show team. She is my special girl

03.01.2022 Drought hitting harder so Warwick who at 7 months got Reserve Champion Ram at Sydney Royal is looking for a new home. PM for details.

01.01.2022 Absolute disaster for us. Son-in-law has gone away leaving only the ute for our daughter to go to work in. We were supposed to be borrowing this ute as it is a dual cab so we could take the grandkids down with us. Otherwise we would have hired a single cab ute. Can't afford dual ones to hire. However with the drought and at this late stage we cannot afford to do so. We should get back all bar $50 of our accommodation but $276.00 of entries is anyone's guess at this stage. Though they are looking at it. With the drought biting harder you don't mind making do to go and enjoy yourself but to throw it away really hurts. Still life wasn't meant to be easy.
