25.01.2022 Just about to set my first dozen eggs for the season bloody exciting. Finally going to have a good season, little worried about these new Facebook police making it more difficult to be connected with other fanciers for selling.

23.01.2022 Chixalott is quite poor lol so needed new bedding for the chickens. Well good ol council slasher came so I went out and raked a heap of the grass. Gotta love free mulch and feed. Clean chicken pen pictures to come.

22.01.2022 Chixalott hasn't been doing much with the chickens this past year but it's been very busy. We've done so much to the house, building in underneath and doing small renovations upstairs. Plus and most importantly our little baby girl Estelle came into our lives.

22.01.2022 Little pullet shaping up nicely wish she had nicer lacing but can't get everyone perfect just yet. Slowly working towards it though with every season I get better.

19.01.2022 Chixalott has so much going on with 2 little Humans. I'm only breeding minimal amount of chicks. We spent over half a day and a night in hospital with this horrid flu going around luckily she's all ok and on the mend. I've only had 2 batches of chicks hatch and it was a super poor effort with only half a dozen hatch all up but at least the season is finally here.

04.01.2022 I can't believe that Estelle is now just over a year old. She was so little and precious. To think in just a few months I'm going to have another tiny baby in my arms, it still doesn't feel real. Having 3 babies under 3 come August, will make this year's breeding season quite difficult.
