24.01.2022 Little help for these pitiful people To say that, we are very fortunate to live in a country full of diversity, compassion, opportunities and unity like Australia is an understatement. When COVID 19 Pandemic arised, the goverment was and still is concerned about the health and well-being of the country.... On the other side, back in our home country Vietnam, homeless rates are significantly high. The elderly are extremely fragile yet take all measures to sell lotto tickets to make an earning despite their conditions. The wandering children in the dirty streets left in the cold with little to no clean or warm clothing left to collect cans of beers and soft drinks in exchange for their daily meals. On top of this, the disability almost have no place to stay at night and despite the struggles they are allowed ti keep working despite the need for social isolation implemented in most countries. The government has set the regulations on the need to quarantine for everyone health and well-being. Therefore, these people are considering as the most unfortunate during this pandemic. The questions we pose for everyone to consider is: What do you think these people will eat everyday? Do they have a safe place to sleep at night? Who could they rely on others or ask for help? Therefore, we would like to ask everyone to join hands to help these destitute lives through the epidemic of hunger and disease. We will have prestigious organisation/individual that will help us assist these people temporarily until the end of the isolation time.
