22.01.2022 Selling on behalf of owner 15 yo, TB, Gelding, 16.2h Albert is a lovely TB who shows great potential as a dressage, eventing, or all rounder mount. He goes on trial rides often and has even done some cattle work too. Albert is really willing to work and loves to please. Hasn't done much until his current owner purchased him a year ago for pleasure riding, sad sale for owner but she believes he will do better with someone wanting to take him further to reach his potential. Bee...n in full work for the past 3-4 weeks and he is constantly improving he certainly doesn't feel 15! Has jumped and will continue to train him jumping and more flat until he is sold. 12.01.2022 AHDC day Some good and bad parts of yesterday's dressage day. Nate took home the win in the Prelim 1C scoring us a 71% which i was stoked with especially as he hasn't been out to a comp for just under a year Nates second test in the prelim 1B was also great getting 3rd place, just a little tired but so happy with himCopper was quite tense yesterday during his elementary which showed in the scores unfortunately, he showed some good moments but pretty disappointed as I know we can do a lot betterCan only go onwards and upwards from here! 09.01.2022 Great first competition back for us at AHDC today. Copper was quite excited to be out and about again during his Novice B test, tense but had nice moments. Our second test which was the Elementary 3A, he didn’t put a foot wrong, being on his best behaviour scoring us a nice 67.5% and take away 2nd place. Was so great to be out again and I’m very pleased with how our day went. Also spot the new @iconic_equestrian dressage pad making us look slick plenty of photos to come. 06.01.2022 So thrilled to be back out eventing it was so much fun! Both ponies were very good this weekend. Nate was in the eva95 class this weekend, his dressage test was very nice, it's his least favourite phase but he's defintely improving His Showjumping was a breeze making it feel too easy for him, and he flew around the XC course clear just going too slow but I'm very happy with him and his jumping lately, he's so much fun. We ended up 6th in the field Copper was in the 2star... this weekend, dressage had improvements but a little tense. His Showjumping he had 1 down and a silly refusal that was his riders fault XC it was so good to be back out on him, couple of stops. But very pleased to be back out doing 2star on him, he handled all the tricky lines perfectly and it was so much fun. Thanks @iconic_equestrian for making the boys look so fancy in there 2 in 1 Olympic White pads and fly hoods! They also sponsored the event which is awesome! So grateful Thank you @oaklands_eventing Kirsty for helping me throughout the weekend with the ponies and well done on your boy Thanks to the Monarto Horse Trials committee for putting on this weekend, you guys did an amazing job and I'm sure everyone enjoyed themselves being back out doing XC! 01.01.2022 2020 Highlights 2020 has obviously been a pretty tough year for many people. With all the equestrian competitions being cancelled, but it has also been a good learning experience. With Copper unable to compete for some time but he will be back on track and competing again in 2021 which I can't wait for! ... Taking over Mums horse Nate this year has been such a fun and exciting experience as he has unlocked so much potential that I can't wait to see more of. He definitely made the last couple of events very enjoyable I'm so thankful to have gotten to ride a variety of different horses throughout the year, every horse has given me more knowledge and experience. I've also achieved some huge personal goals this year which I am very proud of. Thank you to friends, family, my boyfriend coaches etc. of course my wonderful ponies who made the year more enjoyable than I thought it would be Wishing everyone a happy new year Enjoy some of my highlights from this year
