This is not surprising and although somewhat time consuming, such a simple act can produce such significant results.. How? ... Most people underestimate the amount they eat per day by 1000 calories! So keeping track give an accurate picture of daily consumption Keeping a diary enforces accountability. Do you really want to eat it if you have to write it down? But it would be irresponsible and ignorant of me to not expand more so on the things that are making us and the planet sick and what we can do to fix it..... It’s like I’ve had another awakening.. 01.01.2022 Ive spoken at a few Self Care Workshops about the Hierarchy of Self Care.. I think it is important to note that if you are not building the foundations of your life with good, sustainable nutrition and daily movement, then no amount of baths, meditation, oils or whatever other ‘self-care tools’ you have in your tool box will replenish, restore and energise you like nutrition and movement will. The way you eat is the most basic way you demonstrate care for yourself and closel...y second to that is movement. Get these two foundations sorted and you’ll have a solid base for your self care triangle.

Carbs intake will depend on factors such as:... - How big or small someone is - How much lean mass or body fat they have (or want to have) - How active they are - How intense, long-lasting, and/or frequent that activity is - How old they are and what stage of life they are at - Intake levels of other macronutrients - Genetics - What foods they like, tolerate and prefer to eat - What they want to do Some people will feel and function better with more carbs than average and others will function better with less than average. And the majority of people in the middle will do best with a moderate intake of carbs, especially from high-fibre, nutrient-dense, slow-digesting sources such as veggies, fruits, legumes and wholegrains.
