25.01.2022 Morning Everyone I've been very quiet on the social pages lately due to having limited appointments because of COVID. Ive been very lucky to remain open during this time. Things are looking great here in SA which is a huge relief the following things still remain in place for the month on June in the salon.... - Only 1 client at a time (unless it's a family member attending with a child or relative) ... - if a client is in the salon please remain outside or in your car until they have left. - my bathroom is off limits to clients - if you are feeling unwell please call and reschedule your appointment. The salon is currently FULLY BOOKED until Tues 30th June!! I have the following appointments remaining for June... Tues 30th June at 9.30am or 1.30pm (cut only) Please book in advance if your wanting an appointment. Thankyou all again for all your support through this time, it different for now and hopefully back to almost normal soon xx

25.01.2022 SORRY I'm currently not taking anymore booking for 2020!!!! Silly Season is here and I can no longer squeeze anymore appointments in at this stage..... I will not be posting available appointments on here this year because last year it was chaos ... 23.01.2022 Thankyou to all my amazing clients this week that have been so understanding with me reshuffling their appointments to make it safer for everyone!!! I won't be taking anymore booking this week and I will reassess next week's booking as we get closer, but at this stage I will only be having one client at a time in the salon so appointments are limited, I will continue to remain open if I'm healthy and guidelines say i can. I'm running a cancellation list for those that would like to be on it just in case appointments become available School Holidays is also nearly Fully Booked too. We will be taking a bit of time off then with our family because we have had to cancel two of our holidays during COVID and need a little break ... 21.01.2022 A few new things to remember when attending your next appointment...... - Please use the hand sanitiser provided at the door - You will be required to sign yourself in before your appointment, paperwork will be provided (if this is refused your appointment can't go ahead) ... - It is mandatory that I wear a mask but only recommended that you as the client to wear one if you have one. - If you have flu like symptoms , feel unwell or been with someone who have been unwell, please cancel or rebook your appointment (the salon is also my home and I can't afford for myself or my family to get sick this time of the year) - Attend your appointment alone (unless you are the carer or parent of a child that has an appointment) - My bathroom facilities won't be available for client use. - For now until things settle again children won't be able to play with my children or their toys in the yard (this upsets me the most my boys love it when they get to play with their friends having appointments Hopefully its for a short time only) - Refreshments won't be able at this stage, please bring your own drink etc to your appointment.

14.01.2022 Morning Everyone Hope you all had a lovely Easter with those you live with Just a little Salon Update........ - Please only attend your appointment if you are feeling 100% well (running nose, fever, cough etc) If you have travelled outside of SA recently please reschedule to a later date. This is not only a salon it's our home and my family is my first priority!! - Rebook or put yourself on my waiting list if you would like to self isolate a little longer before you come into the salon, I will be contact this list in order once restrictions are charged. - Please bring your own drink if attending a colour appointment I can no longer offer refreshments at this stage. Also my house is off limits so my bathroom is out of order for now too. - Please book your appointments in advance I now have even more limited appointments and trading times. I will not be taking any new clients at this stage too, sorry. - If you are attending a colour appointment and would normally bring your children this can no longer happen at this stage sorry. (this makes me sad, my boys love playing with all their friends when they come ) If we keep doing things right, things should return to 'normal' whatever that is soon!!! 13.01.2022 Be Kind.......... We all handle thing differently. Things have changed so much in my own business. I'm used to being back to back clients with no gaps and now I'm spacing out clients to keep to social distancing rules, to not only keep my home as safe as I can but also my clients. This means less appointments available so please book in advance. It's not busy like it used to be it's the new kind of COVID busy that will remain for a while. 13.01.2022 The salon is still Open..... For Now!!!! With new guidelines added to all hairdressers tonight to be enforced as of midnight tomorrow all hair appointments are to be limited to 30mins only!!! How will this effect your appointment??... - Mens and Kids Cuts are less then 30mins already but I can only allow ONE client in the salon at a time (if you come as a family or with sibling I ask they remain outside) - Ladies Cuts for some it will remain the same for others they may not be able to have their usual wash or blowdry for now - Colour Appointment Most are all longer then 30mins just in application but I will work with each appointment individually to assess best way to get my regular current colour booking through - Waxing and Tinting are no longer available as of Midnight tomorrow!! Appointments will be very limited, I will not be extending my hours anymore, and at this stage I feel it's best I don't take on any new clients with the way things are. This could change at anytime and if I feel that it's best for me and my family to just shut the door until this all passes I will do so, I have both my boys at home now and they are my first priority, they need me more than ever in this confusing time. 04.01.2022 Morning Everyone I have been doing lots of thinking over the weekend and chatting to other local salon owners who have made the brave decision to close their doors until this craziness passes. Hairdressing under these unrealistic social distancing rules are slowly killing my business, but I'm doing what I must for everyone health. This is a double edged sword for my business... One side we have been told to stay home as much as we can for the time being which mean I have been having lots of clients cancel which is important part of social distancing!!! and the right choice for most. The otherside those clients that are 100% healthy and keeping their appointments that are keeping my business going, without appointments I have no income. it's essential for my family to survive. Both are important!!! What is the right choice? No one knows...... We are given mixed messages from the government. 'Stay home only go out for the essentials' 'Hairdressers are kept open because they are considered essential' So I have decided due to the amount of cancellations for next week I will be taking the week off to serious think about my business for my own health, my families health and also your health. I am not saying I'm closing down yet but it's a possibly!! If you have an appointment next week you will hear from me today with your options I will still be taking booking but I won't be taking on any new clientele until this all passes, If I remain open it will be to look after my existing clients. 04.01.2022 Covid Restriction Update From tomorrow I will be wearing a mask in the salon as required. It isn't compulsory for clients to at this stage but suggested when out in the public too..... If anything else changes I will contact each individual booking but things will continue as they have been.......
